Overview

Sky Saber is an application for algorithmic tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of remote sensing data sources. These sources include satellite optical and synthetic aperture radar imagery, as well as sensor and imagery data from unmanned platforms or fixed camera systems. Sky Saber automates the exposure of indicators and warnings to augment domain awareness tools and platforms in a highly customizable framework.

With an intuitive interface and rapidly adaptable workflows, the application allows an analyst to automate the processing of imagery holdings. Sky Saber leverages the domain expertise of the user to customize and sustain the models behind the application. 

Sky Saber has a direct integration with NGA’s Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery platform and can integrate data from any Open Geospatial Consortium-compliant imagery provider. Existing imagery provider integrations include Maxar, Planet Labs, and Capella Space.

Through its customizable models and analytics, Sky Saber can support a variety of domain awareness tasks, such as providing near-real-time health and status for physical infrastructure, workflows for broad area search, or automatic target recognition. The application is Kubernetes-based and deployable to cloud or on-prem infrastructure. Sky Saber’s open architecture facilitates rapid integrations to other systems, including ESRI’s ArcGIS platforms.
