The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities, guaranteeing equal opportunity to public accommodations, employment, transportation, State and local government services, and telecommunications. To ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities along our nation’s transportation networks, JMT has designed and developed an ADA Geospatial Tool Kit, automating ADA compliance reporting and providing tools to view and analyze ADA information using a combination of Geographic Information System (GIS), web and mobile technologies.
