To succeed in the retail sector, a business will need to understand how its potential consumers are purchasing goods and services, and what type of goods are most in demand. Similarly, a commercial real estate company cannot make informed decisions about investment properties within a specific geographical location without first understanding the population, age, income, or educational attainment of the people in the area of interest. In the absence of reliable data, businesses and organizations make crucial decisions with incomplete information.
Esri has long recognized the need for authoritative data, providing users with access through products across the ArcGIS system and through data files on request from our sales team.
To improve discoverability and ease of access to data offerings, Esri has introduced an e-commerce experience for users to purchase demographic data for the United States.
With the new data store, users have access to a variety of data sets. From Census data to Consumer Spending and Market Potential data, organizations can buy data on-demand to suit their workflows.
The store offers full databases or data tables:

How to Purchase the Data

To get started, visit the store and select your dataset of interest by clicking one of the options on the left-hand side. You should see a few cards displaying the full databases or data tables (where applicable). Select a full database or one or more data tables by clicking the check box next to each item. To learn more about each database, click ‘view details’ on the cards that say, ‘full database’.
Next, proceed to pricing by clicking the blue button in the top right-hand corner. Enter the number of users in your organization, and click the check box to confirm that your information is accurate.
Note: For organizations with 101+ users, please fill in the pop-up form to connect with an account manager.

The next step is to specify the geographic extent (such as data for an entire country, state, CBSA or county), level (this could be a block group, census tract or zip code), and file type (CSV, Excel, shapefiles etc.) you are interested in. The selected items will then appear in your cart.
