Renia Kagkou
Renia is an Urbanist and Designer working at Esri’s Smart Cities cross-sector team. She develops workflows that apply GIS software to unpack and solve complex urban planning and design challenges, and she consults firms on implementing and adopting these workflows. A core focus of her work is the integration of geospatial analysis, scenario testing, and impact assessment in the decision-making processes for zoning, land use, and urban development. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design and a Post-Graduate degree in Urbanism, Landscape and Ecology from Harvard University (2018), and a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute (2015).
