We are happy to announce that we have released Workforce for ArcGIS v17.0.1 on the iOS and Android platforms. This completes the second half of a phased release for Workforce.
This update brings several key features as well as a number of bug fixes.
Mobile App Updates
With the iOS and Android apps, we have added the ability to attach photos and videos to assignments from the device as well as view attachments that were added by the dispatcher. This can be a useful method for documenting that work assignments have been completed, or to provide evidence as to why they cannot be completed.
App Integration Improvements
We have deepened the integration with Collector and Survey123. Not only can you associate a web map or survey with a specific assignment type, but now you can pass information like the location description or more importantly the ID of the assignment from Workforce to either Collector or Survey123. The Project Owner defines the field mapping for transfer of data in the administration settings for projects.
Assignment Sorting
If you have used Critical as a priority for assignments, you may have noticed that they would always appear at the top of the ToDo list, regardless of how you sorted them. Well we have now flattened the list so if you choose to sort by Date and want the latest assignment at the top, you will now see it at the top (regardless of the priority).
