We’re excited to present two tech sessions this week:

ArcGIS Hub: An Introduction

Organizations around the world are using ArcGIS Hub to engage communities, promote transparency, and collaborate across departments. During this session you will be introduced to ArcGIS Hub and how to get started with organizing internal staff and external collaborators to achieve your organization’s community engagement goals. We will cover some of the best examples across industries of how to leverage ArcGIS Hub sites, initiatives, teams, community identities, and feedback tools.

ArcGIS Hub: Managing and Collaborating with Your Community

Wednesday, July 14, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm PDT
ArcGIS Hub helps organizations work more effectively with their communities. In this session, you will learn how to manage the content and apps community members can access, as well as how to control and leverage the ways in which community members can participate in initiatives. The use of ArcGIS Hub sharing controls, teams, sign-up configurations, community identities, and engagement tools will be highlighted.

But we’re even more excited to tune into all the amazing user presentations that will be featuring ArcGIS Hub. There’s about a dozen that you can watch On Demand, anytime at your convenience. From COVID-19 response, to opioid awareness, to managing parks and fishing ponds, ArcGIS Hub is being used by governments large and small across the world to build awareness, increase transparency, and improve engagement in communities.

Esri UC Virtual Run/Walk/Bike 2021

You may find yourself sitting at a desk a lot during the conference this week, so when you’re ready to take a break, you can join the GIS community on a walk around the world! From July 10 to 18, use the ArcGIS QuickCapture mobile app to track your routes and take pictures along the way. Something new this year, you can use your Apple Watch and cyclists are welcome.

Fun fact: Did you know ArcGIS Hub was used to create the Esri UC Virtual Run/Walk 2020 website? We’re also using the capability included with ArcGIS Hub Premium that allows anyone to capture data using the ArcGIS QuickCapture mobile app without needing an ArcGIS account.
