National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Selects Esri for eNGAge Program

Redlands, California—Esri, the global leader in spatial analytics, today announced that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has selected Esri to participate in the agency’s eNGAge program. The initiative builds the agency’s internal knowledge and skills by placing NGA employees in temporary positions with industry and academic partners as well as embedding experts from external institutions in NGA teams.

The eNGAge program was implemented to increase employees’ exposure to new and emerging technologies and methodologies outside the public sector. The program offers professionals experiential learning opportunities to broaden their understanding and capabilities.

"Esri is excited to partner with NGA to collaborate with and learn from each other," said Esri president and founder Jack Dangermond. "One of the key foundations of spatial analytics is the sharing of information, so the exchange of ideas and skills is crucial to the success of our platform."

The NGA employees who work with Esri will have the opportunity to generate imagery and data content using Esri’s cutting-edge spatial analytics products, including the Living Atlas of the World, the most authoritative and comprehensive collection of high-quality online geographic information available.
