N-PLANNER is a flight planning tool that supports automated drone image capture for a variety of applications, particularly for infrastructure inspection and construction documentation. Users have an option for implementing: 1) an optimizer model that generates an optimally located and minimally numbered set of image capture station locations for viewing apparatus to be inspected or documented, or 2) a pre-defined systematically oriented set of image capture stations, such as a “shot sheet.” Flight plans are automatically generated for any type of drone system.
