Overview

N-PLANNER is a unique flight planning software designed specifically for inspection of multiple targets of interest having disjointed and unique locations, in a complex environment.  This add-in uses a range of input data (LIDAR point cloud, desired view perspective per target, etc.), and calculates the XYZ positions and view perspectives from which inspection images should be captured during an automated flight.  Output files can be used directly for auto-flight missions.  The software enables camera stations modeled for one pole/tower to be replicated to a string of additional poles/towers using functionality comparable to "copy & paste," rather than running the modeling process for each pole/tower.  N-PLANNER also optimizes, in order to have the fewest number of images that capture all targets within their uniquely specified views.  The software is a great choice for planning automated inspection missions for a string of poles/towers, and perfectly suited to be used with complex BVLOS inspection flights.  N-PLANNER is available as an ArcGIS toolbox in Esri's ArcGIS Pro software.
