TheAddresser for ArcGIS Enterprise is a FGDC/NENA-compliant platform that provides a comprehensive toolset for creating and managing enterprise address point and street centerline data in a web environment. With a variety of custom tools and workflow enhancements, this solution makes it easy for a large number of users to collaborate on centralized, cohesive addressing datasets. TheAddresser can be distributed to a multitude of users with varying responsibilities and uses without requiring separate client installs for each participant. Secure logins ensure editors and read-only users alike have access to only the data and tools specific for their task. Additionally, editors can be constrained to their local municipalities to prevent editing outside of their focus areas in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
Engaging with the public or other departmental entities can not only improve the quality of your data thru feedback and testing, but also streamlines the communication of addressing issues and requests between users and editors. TheAddresser for ArcGIS Enterprise supports several add-ons designed to supplement the management of address data. Apps for field data collection and verification, requests for new addresses by the public and developers, and submission of addressing issues are seamlessly integrated with the platform. Notifications of requests and addressing issues are sent directly to editors within the application making it easy to quickly assess and respond to user requests.
Editing is simplified and streamlined and with a number of automated routines and calculations, much of the work calculating attributes and tracking ranges is done for you. Ranges are determined and house numbers are recommended while additional attributes are inherited from related features or overlay analysis, all in an effort to reduce the number of clicks needed to edit. Business rules protect the integrity of your data
by preventing erroneous addresses and ranges that conflict with established editing standards and practices.
In addition to business rules and workflow protections during the editing process, TheAddresser provides a number of checks to validate for issues relating to addressing, ranging, geometry, and routing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
