Uptility helps to build up intelligent information systems and to operate them efficiently. We connect geoinformatics with business intelligence to optimize spatial business processes. We develop IT-technical solutions to implement sustainability strategies, for instance for a clean energy in climate protection. At Uptility cooperation and teamwork are of paramount importance – respect towards the environment is a self-commitment. Technologically, Uptility relies on the products of the market leader Esri, as it represents the best platform known to us for modular IT architecture, open data management and support of industry standards in the GIS environment. As an Esri Silver Partner, we develop application software primarily for energy suppliers and telecommunications and provide all related consulting and support services. Uptility develops lightweighted and powerful applications for the management of intelligent distribution networks of utility companies to replace monolithically built-up, obsolete and thereby uneconomical network information systems. We use the models and tools of the Esri ArcGIS Utility Network because it enables an intelligent management of distribution networks of domain networks like Electric, Gas, Water, DHC and Telcom. Because of the high flexibility at the construction of underlying models and consistency rules each utility company is able to build up and manage its Asset Management individually.

Overview:
Software Engineering: Uptility prefers the agile software development. We develop lightweighted and efficient applications, that will be constructed – for the purpose of the so-called Microservices – as simple, reusable and independent components or services. Moreover, they are dessigned to be easy to combine to implement a specific functionality. Our experiences as developers have shown that monolithic software architectures are not able to fulfill the growing requirements anymore.
Geo-IT-Consulting: The founders of Uptility have completed hundreds of IT projects successfully. Furthermore, the composition of agile teams as well as a safe assessment of the completion dates and risks have contributed to much success. We design customers IT project and guide it from the very first idea through the critical initial stage to a successful go live.
Data Services: In terms of the replacement of an IT-legacy system a data migration is an indispensable work step. Uptility supports test runs with real data as well as the timely integration of the stakeholders. Big Data? We use tools such as Microsoft Power BI to visualize large quantities of business data quickly and user-friendly.
Training: Our goal is to find exactly the training which is appropriate for our customers. We offer seminars, workshops and coaching to convey technical knowledge. We demonstrate the way from knowledge to applicate, to insert the new technologies and software solutions quickly and successfully.
