Servizi di Informazione Territoriale srl (hereinafter referred to as SIT srl, for brevity) is made in a limited liability company with share capital of € 90,380. The company was founded in 1994 by a group of experts with a long experience in mapping and information technology, with the goal of providing to public administrations, businesses operators, professionals and citizens, services and consulting in the fields of land, environment and infrastructure knowledge and management, and in all areas of application for which it is necessary the geo-referenced location of spatial objects and activities. Since its establishment SIT srl has constantly adapted its products to the changing of technologies, starting from digital cartography and arriving today to three-dimensional modeling of the territory and the structuring of topo-cartographic database with the most advanced national and international standards (Intesa Stato-Regioni-Enti Locali, INSPIRE), integrating these products within the Internet with the development of WebGIS sites that can provide value-added local services to public and private users. SIT srl is currently focusing its greater research and experimentation efforts to examine the possibility of commercial using of the integration of digital photogrammetric technologies with the new LiDAR and Hyperspectral technologies for the territory characterization and monitoring from the environmental point of view
