Richard A. Smith, M.S., P.E., F.ASCE, founded raSmith in 1978 with three founding principles: stability, quality and innovation. Rick’s son Ricky followed in his father’s footsteps and began his career at raSmith as a civil engineer in 2002. Ricky was named president of raSmith in 2018.
