FracDB – Fracture Stimulations Database: Hydraulic fracturing is an evolving technology, which requires an evolutionary approach to practical data management. To meet the short and long-term needs of the operator Petrosys has created an effective data model that links to the enterprise well master at the well bore level. The FracDB extension manages well stimulation data with an emphasis on the needs of the operator. FracDB allows subsurface and completion engineers the ability to access centralized fracture stimulations data. This model can cross reference subsurface geoscience through common reservoir unit definitions. It also captures the engineering specific opinion of those aspects of the reservoir units where the engineering processes require a finer grained view than might be managed for field level geoscience.
