Overview:
LiRo's Survey Division, formerly part of Sidney B. Bowne & Son, has provided professional land survey services for over 100 years. Extensive experience with federal, state, municipal, commercial, and residential clients, augmented by an ability to work in any environment and meet stringent deadlines, enables us to provide the highest caliber of surveying services. Our New York State licensed staff are skilled in both traditional and geodetic survey techniques, and utilize state-of-the-art equipment - including GPS-RTK and robotic data collectors - for plane, geodetic and construction surveying.
Our staff also provides infrastructure and building construction stakeout and as-built mapping for municipal clients and private contractors. Project control is established to set baselines and benchmarks for the layout of structures including storm water, sanitary sewer, curbs, sidewalks and pavement. Our staff also examine proposed construction plans for accuracy and provide quality control to ensure construction compliance with approved plans.
