Marco Commander is a high-performance application used for Spatial Data Discovery and Data Reference Inventory. Constructed from the core functionality of Marco Desktop, Commander is designed for parallel processing and fully utilizes the resources of server-class machines to record datasets on a network and perform health-checks to determine factors such as frequency of use. Out of the box, it supports multiple installations on numerous machines, utilizing a central index and central controller for managing jobs, tracking changes, and providing common access to gathered data. This application is part of a suite of Knowledge Management solutions – Marco Studio – designed to better maintain spatial data on an enterprise system.
