Senior executives and business professionals from real estate, retail, insurance, manufacturing, and other industries will explain how they use geographic information system (GIS) technology to their advantage during Esri's Business GeoInfo Summit in April at the Westin Park Central Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

The conference will demonstrate winning business strategies using GIS. Attendees will learn how to profit from the technology, plus find out how to improve business processes and outperform competitors. They also will build relationships and share experiences with their peers, Esri staff, and GIS solution providers.

Keynote speeches and sessions at the conference, scheduled for April 23–25, 2007, will focus on how GIS helps businesses to collaborate and communicate more effectively, reduce costs, increase productivity, and make better business decisions. The summit is open to anyone interested in:

Sessions will focus on commercial applications, real-world successes, and industry best practices. Attendees will learn how companies apply GIS to improve key business functions and streamline daily operations. In a case study format, industry experts will describe their experiences using GIS, identify the benefits, and explain how to avoid pitfalls.

Participants will have ample time to network with colleagues and visit the GIS Solutions EXPO, a showcase that includes demonstrations of Esri software, data partners' applications, consulting services, and data. During the Map Gallery reception, companies will display maps created by their employees. Esri staff will demonstrate how ArcGIS Business Analyst, Business Analyst Online, and other software products can help improve business applications. Questions will be welcome.
