Clark Labs developed Land Change Modeler as a software extension for ArcGIS, offering a comprehensive set of integrated tools to analyze and model land-cover change and the impacts of change on habitat and biodiversity. Users can perform a variety of change analyses with two land-cover maps of different dates, including analyzing trends and modeling future land-change scenarios. Tools are included for habitat assessment, habitat change analysis, gap analysis, landscape pattern analysis, and biodiversity assessment.
Analytical Graphics, Inc.
4danalyst.agi.com
Satellite and Sensor Analyst is a new ArcGIS extension from Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), that allows users to add temporal layers of satellite and sensor analysis to geospatial views. Satellite and Sensor Analyst is the first of AGI's 4D Analyst extensions for the ArcGIS family; it creates temporal layers of satellite position data and sensor footprints that can be analyzed against other GIS feature classes. This extension can be used to calculate communication or imaging opportunity intervals between a satellite and GIS features and to generate custom reports detailing exact times and durations of when selected GIS features can be seen by satellites or sensors.
