Esri's Business GeoInfo Summit will be held April 30–May 2, 2006, at the Marriott Boston Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference agenda is filled with two days of informative sessions and demonstrations of how Esri GIS software enables businesses to go beyond standard analysis with tools that integrate, view, and analyze data.

GIS helps businesses in a number of ways: it is a powerful tool for business planning continuity and contingencies, assisting with facilities management, employee notification, incident mapping, weather mapping, office relocation, evacuation, threat assessment, and supply chain assessment. GIS also helps companies save on operating expenses with logistics solutions, network tracing, and analysis to determine product routing, optimizing, and providing data management and reporting support for sophisticated product transaction management systems.

Breakout sessions on Tuesday will be led by business professionals who count on GIS for their day-to-day operations.

A GIS Solutions EXPO will be held Monday evening, allowing GIS business colleagues to meet and network. Esri Business Partners will display integrated GIS services, Esri software-based applications, software application tools, consulting services, and data for use in Esri software. During the GIS Solutions EXPO, a Map Gallery reception hosted by Esri will display maps from attending companies that are successfully using Esri GIS software.
