Revisiting Celestial Mapping with GISThe Summer 2001 issue of ArcNews presented an article about Peter Girard's celestial mapping project in ArcView GIS 3.x. An FTP link was provided so that interested readers could freely download the two compressed files (av_stars.zip and big_stars.zip). Hundreds of readers have done just that, but it turns out that some Internet browsers had difficulty accessing the FTP site.
