How we can work together

National maritime and hydrographic organizations are tasked with improving hydrography and safety of life at sea. The key to a country's blue economy success is a hydrographic office enabled with modern geographic information system (GIS) technology. When hydrographic office staff use Esri tools to collect, manage, and disseminate authoritative and foundational maritime information, they are supporting national economic development.

Three things to know before applying

Esri is supporting the maritime modernization program with discounted software and capacity development. Costs will vary based on current needs, capacity, and technology. Maritime chart production bundles start at US$67,000. The maritime spatial data infrastructure (MSDI) bundle starts at US$23,000. All bundles are designed to provide hydrographic offices with the tools and expertise needed to implement a maritime spatial data infrastructure and maritime chart production system.

The maritime modernization program offer includes the following options:

  1. The maritime chart production offer allows up to three users access to the maritime solution bundle that includes ArcGIS Maritime and ArcGIS Pro Advanced, with 120 hours of remote or on-site training and consulting services focused on electronic navigational charts (ENC) chart production and related International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) standards.
  2. The MSDI offer includes up to four cores for ArcGIS Enterprise Standard and the ArcGIS Maritime server extension with 20 hours of remote training and consulting services focused on MSDI concepts and methodologies for geospatial analysis and collaboration.

Note: The offer does not include hardware. More information on system requirements can be found here
