Holiday Program

The Desert Carolers

December 11, 2024 | 5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.

The Desert Carolers troupe started as The Lamplight Carolers down in Long Beach in the early 1980's, with the founder, Judith Vaccaro Dunlore. Comprised of all professional singers trained in opera, jazz, musical theatre, etc., the group serviced Orange, LA, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. In the early 2000's, the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley singers split off from the parent company and formed The Desert Carolers.  Desert Carolers is now 5 quartets, and the close harmony a cappella group is very active in the Palm Springs and Redlands area. The group boasts 60 songs, many custom jazzy arrangements, holiday standards, and traditional carols.
