We work with professionals to provide tools that support complex real-life workflows in 2D and 3D for raster/image processing and analysis space. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced agile team that works with the latest technologies and patterns to design and develop next-gen Esri software.

Responsibilities


  • Provide 3D / Stereo graphics support for raster/image in ArcGIS Pro
  • Develop advanced algorithms for hi-performance computer graphic in stereoscopic environment
  • Design and develop leading edge 2D/3D GIS software
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes for incorrect software behavior and failures
  • Collaborate with other programmers and developers across teams throughout the development process
  • Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences

Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience with C++, working in the field of high-performance 3D computer graphics
  • Familiar with OpenGL and DirectX including shaders programming
  • Familiar with 2D/3D visualization algorithms
  • Experience in GPU-based processing
  • Ability to clearly analyze/describe problems and propose solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, remote sensing, graphics, mathematics, or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • GIS experience and knowledge of raster and imagery
  • Knowledge of image processing, photogrammetry, surveying and mapping
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded development and architecture
  • Knowledge of Esri products or similar GIS or spatial software
  • Prior experience with software development and release of commercial software products
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in computer science, remote sensing, graphics, mathematics, or related field

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$114,400-$187,200 USD
