Overview

Our growing company needs a responsible individual to inspect, maintain, and have a general understanding of repairing building infrastructure related to plumbing and maintenance. The successful candidate will help oversee Esri' s facility plumbing operations while remaining in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Repair or replace faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, toilets, shower valves, and more
  • Clear and maintain storm drains and roof drains; perform pipe replacement
  • Monitor and maintain all permanent sump pumps on campus; use drain snakes to clear sewer lines
  • Maintain clear filter operation at all campus fountains
  • Assist with rain leak emergencies including sand bagging, roof leak repair, and follow-up maintenance
  • Perform repair and preventive maintenance on all campus plumbing systems
  • Additional facilities maintenance to include pest control, general building/office maintenance, and incoming service desk requests

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in all aspects of new plumbing installation and repair
  • Knowledge of and experience with plumbing tools such as electric snakes, pipe threaders, torches. spanner wrenches, and other basic tools of the trade
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area at all work locations including field locations, facilities shop, and break room
  • Ability to work in a variety of physical environments including on ladders, man-lifts, and more
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to safe working practices as defined by industry and regulatory standards
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written with all levels of the campus community and business contacts
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience processing governmental agency permits and related documents
  • College education or trade school a plus
  • Extended knowledge of construction practices
  • Knowledge of insurance requirements in a corporate environment

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$23-$41 USD
