Overview


As a Sr. Technical Consultant, specialized in imagery and remote sensing, you will work with a broad range of customers in the MEA region on imagery and remote sensing, supporting them on the design and implementation strategies using Esri technology best practices. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team in an environment that values expertise, dedication, and a passion for geospatial technology.

In this role, you will consult with customers to understand business and technical requirements, design and implement imagery and remote sensing solutions throughout the engagement life cycle. You will work both independently and as part of Professional Services teams to consult on workflows utilizing Esri GIS and imagery products.

The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope and deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our user be successful.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their geospatial and remote sensing needs
  • Provide guidance on the right Esri imagery technologies customers should use to address their business challenges
  • Design, Implement and configure imagery solutions for Esri clients ensuring the highest quality of service
  • Conduct diagnosis and performance tuning of customer existing imagery workflows and solutions
  • Collaborate with other Professional Services and Business Development teams to support the presales demonstration and technical discussions
  • Contribute to solution scoping, proposal writing and cost estimation of new imagery-related business opportunities

Requirements


  • 8+ years of professional experience in GIS and remote sensing field
  • Hands-on experience working with or implementing imagery and remote sensing software including satellite imagery, aerial photography and LIDAR data management and analysis
  • Proficiency in scripting using Python for geospatial analysis and management
  • Deep working experience in core Esri GIS software products: ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical peers and non-technical project managers or customers in oral and written forms using English
  • Self-motivated, a proactive problem solver, team-oriented, and creative
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, or related fields

Recommended Qualifications


  • Practical experience in Esri imagery products
  • Professional experience in AI use in imagery and remote sensing
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking Arabic
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, or related fields
