ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS QuickCapture at the Esri Developer & Technology Summit

By Cory Marietta and Caitlyn North

Thank you for visiting the ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS QuickCapture Kiosk at the Esri Developer & Technology Summit!

Below, we’ve put together some helpful information to get you more familiar with Survey123 and QuickCapture.

Survey123 Overview:

ArcGIS Survey123 is a form-centric mobile app for creating, sharing, and analyzing surveys. Create simple or sophisticated forms and collect data using web and mobile devices, even when disconnected from the internet. Then, upload results to the web to review and analyze data in ArcGIS.

Whether a brand-new user or a seasoned professional, Survey123 offers a simple drag and drop interface for survey creators to build forms quickly and easily. Working on the desktop unlocks advanced features in Survey, allowing users to create forms in a full XLSForm authoring expereince.

For on-site contributors, the Survey123 field app can be used on familiar mobile devices to enable the collecting and editing of data, even in offline environments. Completed survey data feeds directly back to the ArcGIS organization where it’s available for further analysis.

ArcGIS QuickCapture Overview:

ArcGIS QuickCapture is a simple-to-use app that allows rapid data collection with minimal user involvement through a ‘big button’ interface. Users can easily tap a button to collect new data while traveling at-speed– on foot, from a vehicle, boat, or aircraft – or while otherwise unable to use more interactive interfaces.
