One year ago we published version 2 of the Civilian Topographic Map (CTM) which allows users to create 25K and 50K civilian style topographic data and maps using Esri Production Mapping. Today, we are pleased to announce the release of version 3.
What’s new in version 3?
In this release we have added ArcGIS Workflow Manager Configurations. These workflows focus on extraction and quality control for data collected by in-house staff and by contractors. A series of python tools are included that automate portions of the each workflow, thereby streamlining the process for preparing the job for data collection. The workflows are setup to use direct editing of the enterprise database or to use disconnected editing via a Check Replica File Geodatabase. These workflows are setup to use the 25K editing configurations from CTM Release 1. However, the workflows can be modified to collect data at any scale by updating the editing configurations to match the required scale(s).
