ArcGIS StoryMaps Live! An introduction to briefings in ArcGIS StoryMaps for educators

By Lara Winegar

The ArcGIS StoryMaps team is hosting a live, free webinar on September 4, 2024, focusing on how the education community is using ArcGIS StoryMaps.

During the webinar, you will learn how educators and industry experts are using ArcGIS StoryMaps to engage students and stakeholders inside and outside the classroom. Our team will also walk you through how to use briefings in the ArcGIS StoryMaps builder. And we’ll share the latest features and enhancements to the ArcGIS StoryMaps builder.

Joining the ArcGIS StoryMaps editorial team for this event will be our guest storytellers Jennifer Bell and Kathy Cappelli Brier.

Jennifer is the Senior Product Manager for ArcGIS StoryMaps. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees at The University of Georgia and, over the past decade at Esri, was also an adjunct professor of geography at Brandman University, UMass Global, and The University of Redlands.

Kathy is a principal GIS Content engineer on the Esri Tutorials team and has extensive experience creating educational materials for learners ranging from middle school to industry professionals. She earned her undergraduate degree in Geography and Journalism from Pennsylvania State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Policy from Penn State.
