What's New in ArcMap 10.6

ArcMap 10.6 is primarily a quality improvement release focused on increasing performance and fixing bugs.

Updates to ArcMap 10.6 include

  • New and updated 3D Analyst tools for working with LAS datasets.
  • New Network Analyst tools for creating network dataset layers from other layers and templates.
  • Support for the PostGIS geography type to store spatial data in PostgreSQL databases and geodatabases.

The new update provides feature like- the 3D analytic tool is an effective one. it will help to work with LAS datasets. I read an article about this on facebook. the previous update was a little bit problematic. I hope all bugs will be fixed in the new update.
