Preparing Data Workshop Self-Study Materials Released

By

SelfStudyPDCMImageThe highly-anticipated Preparing Data for Community Maps Workshop self-study materials have been released! Now you can participate in this training at any time, from anywhere. You can watch the videos, review the lecture slides and complete the exercises at your own pace. This self-study version gives students the ability to focus on the topics specific to their needs. It also allows them to refer back to different sections for review.

The material in this version is the same as the material in the instructor-led version of the workshop, and it focuses on the Community Maps Data Prep Tools. There are four lectures, including Community Maps Overview, Data Prep 101, Data Prep 201 and Data Prep 301. The lessons range from an introduction to the Living Atlas of the World and Community Maps and an introduction of the tools, to writing SQL queries and completing more advanced tasks. More information regarding each individual section can be found in this blog post. The download for all of the material can be found here. There are links to the lecture videos in the Description section of this page.

If you are interested in participating in the instructor-led version of the workshop, we have one scheduled for Tuesday, February 24th and Wednesday, March 11th. Please refer to this blog post for registration information.

Please e-mail communitymapstraining@esri.com if you have any questions or concerns while completing the workshop.
