This release is a significant upgrade to the Local Server. New in this release, you’ll find:
- Support for map and geoprocessing packages authored with ArcGIS Pro 2.1 and 2.2 (.mpkx and .gpkx files). This allows you to take advantage of the new ArcGIS Pro based mapping features such as Arcade label expressions, the new label expression format across the ArcGIS platform, or new geoprocessing features such as support for Python 3.4.x and new geoprocessing tools.
- Support for additional tools from ArcGIS Pro
- Compatibility with map and geoprocessing packages created in ArcMap 10.6.x.
In addition, you’ll find that the Local Server geoprocessing tools support topic in the Guide has been updated to include the very latest on the already impressive and growing list of new tools supported by Runtime!
We hope you’ll find these upgrades to the Local Server useful as you continue to build amazing technology for your customers with ArcGIS Runtime.
