Lain Graham


Lain Graham, Ph.D., leads the National Government Sciences Solution Engineer team at Esri. Lain holds advanced degrees in Sociology and Anthropology, she is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and certified FAA part 107 UAV pilot. Dr. Graham engages in academic research and public scholarship in her appointed role at the Smithsonian Institute as an Archaeological Research Assistant and as the NSF REU & RET Co-PI (field stations in Florida and Belize, NSF Award #1950227). At Esri, Dr. Graham assists federal agencies like NASA and NOAA in the adoption and optimization of GIS to develop meaningful solutions to address real-world problems. Lain is passionate about applied science, community engagement and GIS applications.
