Esri Saudi Arabia and King Saud University Form Strategic Partnership to Advance GIS Education and Research

Memorandum of Understanding to Foster Technological Innovation by Providing Education Resources

REDLANDS, Calif.—March 29, 2024Esri, the global leader in location intelligence has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with King Saud University (KSU) in Saudi Arabia. The agreement is intended to enhance the role of geographic information system (GIS) technology in educational programs and research projects in the region while fostering innovation by providing cutting-edge GIS resources.

This strategic collaboration will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, the development of specialized GIS courses, and the provision of Esri software to KSU’s students and faculty.
