MapStudio 3.1 Release

MapStudio 3.1 includes new thematic data for the United States, a new premium business location package, updated data for U.S. Demographics Maps and U.S. Maps, and enhanced functionality to the map view tools and Output.

Data

U.S. Maps now includes business locations for health care facilities, places of worship, education facilities, courts, law enforcement, and health care professionals.

A premium U.S. business location package is now available. The premium package contains business locations for over 35 types of entertainment venues, lodging, financial institutions, retail stores, transportation, and restaurants. These businesses appear as thematic layers and points in U.S. Maps.

U.S. Demographics Maps now contains 2004/2009 demographic reports.

Tools

The Business Location Report tool displays business locations and names for a selected area of your map.

The Identify Data and My Points tools—available for demographic, census, business locations, and points of interest (POI) data—now allows you to select points with a rubberband.

Output

Print a report or download a shapefile of the visible business locations on your map.
