Data Models

A special Web site is available at support.esri.com/datamodels where you can download posters, detailed white papers, and data model templates for use, extension, and adoption in your own systems. In addition, you can learn more and share your ideas, thoughts, and questions with other users by participating in the Data Models Discussion Conference or joining the Data Models User Group.

For example, An ArcGIS Address Data Model [PDF-4.57 MB] represents an approach for storing and maintaining address data in the geodatabase. This diagram illustrates how address data from various spatial datasets at the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was integrated into a single prototype geodatabase.
