Fly-Through Paths and Animations

ArcGIS 3D Analyst allows you to easily create user-defined animations using preset flight paths, key frames, and other interactive tools to help convey a message or concept.

Using a simple toolbar, you can easily record your travels through your data and save the animation to a standard video format, such as MPEG, AVI, or QuickTime, so you can share your animation with others.

You can also edit the animation and include realistic fly-through transition effects such as

• Turning layers on or off
• Changing the lighting factor
• Changing the positions of the target and observer
