ArcGIS Data Appliance provides terabytes of pre-rendered U.S. nationwide and worldwide data that you can host on your ArcGIS Server. This data consists of 2D maps and 3D globes that are optimized for publishing with ArcGIS Server and includes worldwide imagery, street map, shaded relief, and elevation data.
With ArcGIS Data Appliance you can achieve greater efficiencies by
- Publishing your own online services quickly and without having to process or prepare large and varied datasets
- Leveraging your existing data by combining it with content from ArcGIS Data Appliance and sharing your analysis and visualization results with others in your organization
- Adding user tasks from your own secure servers and fuse them with content from ArcGIS Data Appliance to conduct visibility modeling, proximity searches, or demographic analysis.
- Providing a common information architecture for your integration solutions that allows decision makers to view data in a local or global context
Ready-To-Use
Users within your organization can access ArcGIS Data Appliance content and fuse it with data collected by different departments for analysis and visualization of business processes and mission critical applications. Or, using ArcGIS Server, publish the content to customers outside of your organization to provide them with access to crucial information, such as land records, zoning or planning information.
Because ArcGIS Data Appliance is optimized to work with ArcGIS Server, data and services provided by ArcGIS Data Appliance adhere to the same open standards and interoperability that ArcGIS Server provides. This allows multiple divisions, departments, and client applications to share a common information architecture and share technology and services, such as geocoding and routing, more efficiently.
