The ArcGIS Engine Developer Kit includes access to the standard ArcGIS Engine and all the advanced extensions, so developers can create a wide range of applications. The ArcGIS Engine Runtime extensions are licensed per ArcGIS Engine Runtime user.

ArcGIS Engine Runtime Spatial Extension

click to enlargeArcGIS Engine Runtime Spatial extension provides a broad range of powerful spatial modeling and analysis features that allow developers to create and analyze cell-based raster data, perform integrated vector–raster analysis, and derive information about your data. These capabilities can be used to facilitate suitability analysis, calculate the accumulated cost of traveling from one point to another, and much more.

ArcGIS Engine Runtime 3D Extension

click to enlargeArcGIS Engine Runtime 3D extension provides advanced GIS functions for three-dimensional visualization and modeling such as cut–fill, line of sight, terrain modeling, and more. Developers can also analyze 3D surface data, for example, in applications that determine what is visible from a chosen location on a surface.

ArcGIS Engine Runtime Geodatabase Update Extension

The Geodatabase Update extension to ArcGIS Engine Runtime provides developers with the necessary ArcObjects components to build solutions that deal with data automation and click to enlargecompilation and the construction and maintenance of complex geodatabase features. This includes the ability to work with schemas and versioned, multiuser geodatabases. The ArcGIS Engine Geodatabase extension provides the capability to programmatically create features in personal or enterprise geodatabases with geometric networks, relationship classes, subtypes, feature-linked annotation, dimension classes, and custom behavior.

ArcGIS Engine Network Extension
