Limehouse Software Joins ESRI Business Partner Program

Relationship Highlights Strong Start for U.S. Office

Miami, Florida—October 22, 2007—Limehouse Software, the global leader in Web-based collaboration, publishing, and citizen engagement software solutions, today announced that it has joined the ESRI Business Partner Program. Limehouse Software, which has grown rapidly over the last few years, expanding from the United Kingdom to the United States in 2006, will now integrate its Web-based software suite with ESRI ArcWeb Services and ArcGIS to allow active maps to be embedded within Limehouse Web content for both documents and other information including the ability to capture polygons and points from the public.

Limehouse's relationship with ESRI marks another milestone in what has been a busy year for the newly opened Miami office of the London-based software company. Recently added U.S. Limehouse customers include large government organizations such as the cities of Fort Worth, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; Atlanta, Georgia; and Providence, Rhode Island. Other clients include the Greater Toronto (Canada) Transportation Authority; the County of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and the consulting firm PBR Hawaii.

The relationship with ESRI will allow Limehouse customers to include mapping as part of their planning and environmental documents. The Limehouse and ESRI software systems will exchange spatial, document, image, and engagement information. This will enable citizens and stakeholders to access relevant information through one interactive interface, regardless of the type of information. This user interface is made possible by Limehouse’s experience in Web services such as XML and Web 2.0 technologies.

Des Shanahan, Limehouse Software’s vice president of sales in the United States, said the new relationship should be a boost to the company’s profile in this country.

"The Limehouse and ESRI relationship will give our customers additional capabilities for their Web-based document and citizen engagement needs," he said. "We fully expect this to generate a great deal of interest among our customers."

The ESRI Business Partner Program is a network of more than 2,000 domestic and international developers, consultants, data partners, value-added resellers, authorized instructors, and authorized partner education centers that, by utilizing ESRI technology, provide solutions and training to meet the geographic information system (GIS) needs of every industry. Working together, ESRI and its business partners solve business problems with new software applications, data, value-added services, and training.
