Tele Atlas Address Points Selected to Enhance ESRI's ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop Software

The product uses specific data points to pinpoint discrete, actual street addresses to physical buildings or property parcels for precision and accuracy. He covers various conference highlights including a presentation by ESRI's Deanna Anderson on ArcGIS Business Analyst and a demonstration of STDBonline by president of STDB, Inc., Jay R. Lucas. ArcGIS Image Server Now Included in ESRI Developer Network Program
ArcGIS Image Server, a server-based solution that provides fast access and visualization of large quantities of file-based imagery processed on the fly and on demand, has been added to the suite of software provided to ESRI Developer Network (EDN) subscribers. Both ArcGIS Image Server extensions, Orthorectification and Seamline, are also included.
ESRI Data & Maps 2006 Contains Global Elevation Data
The latest collection of ESRI Data & Maps includes the most detailed worldwide elevation data ever made available to the public. The digital elevation model (DEM) data was collected during the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission in 2000. The shuttle Endeavour collected data for 80 percent of the earth's landmass including most of the area between 60 degrees north and 56 degrees south. Learn more.

ESRI's GIS Selected for Analysis of Nationwide Educational Facilities in Kenya
The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Kenya has contracted Oakar Services, Ltd., ESRI's distributor in eastern Africa, to develop a GIS database of the educational facilities in the country. This project is part of the Kenya Education Sector Support Programme to improve access and equity in the provision of quality education, as it will provide the necessary geographic view and analytic capabilities required to continue that improvement.
City of Gävle, Sweden, Uses GIS to Speed Building Permit Process
The City of Gävle, Sweden, is using ESRI GIS to accelerate its building permit application process. The intranet-based GIS will deliver accurate, up-to-date information to city staff in a single user-friendly application, replacing the use of static paper maps to verify property boundaries, land-use information, and zoning regulations.
