Esri's 2011/2016 Updated Demographics Released in 2010 Geography

Redlands, California—Esri released its 2011/2016 Updated Demographics data based on Census 2010 counts and in 2010 geography. This release provides the most accurate demographic data currently available.

“Accuracy matters in data just as much as currency matters in geography. This unique release ensures a higher level of accuracy for data users and provides the most current geographic boundaries,” says Catherine Spisszak, Esri data product manager. “The launch of this data continues Esri’s distinguished history of providing current, accurate demographic data based on proven methodology.”

Esri’s 2011/2016 Updated Demographics data includes current-year estimates and five-year projections for population, households, housing, age, income, race/ethnicity, and more. Geographies include states; counties; census tracts; block groups; and ZIP Codes; and user-defined areas such as rings, drive-times, and hand-drawn areas.

Esri’s 2011/2016 Updated Demographics data is available in a variety of formats and is accessible via database variables, reports, maps, software, servers, and the web. The data is also available in the Esri Business Analyst product suite and in Community Analyst.
