July 2, 2007 Extra Space Storage Implements ESRI RouteMAP IMSSolution Improves Customer Service by Providing Driving Directions and Maps on Web SiteRedlands, California—ESRI announces that Extra Space Storage Inc. (NYSE: EXR), a real estate investment trust based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has deployed RouteMAP IMS to power its new facilities locator service, allowing customers to choose the best storage solution for their needs, right on the Internet, cutting out the need for time consuming store visits and phone calls. Extra Space Storage is the second largest operator of self-storage in the United States and is a national owner, developer, acquirer, and operator of professionally managed self-storage properties. Extra Space Storage is using RouteMAP IMS to map self-storage facilities and provide driving directions for potential customers to its 640 properties throughout the country.
