Sixth Annual Esri Education User Conference

EdUC 2006GIS technology expands educational resources to new heights and gives students, teachers, and administrators the tools to accomplish their goals. On August 5–8, 2006, educators and administrators from all levels will convene at the Sixth Annual Esri Education User Conference (EdUC) to explore GIS technology in classrooms, museums and libraries, community outreach, and other learning environments. The conference will run concurrently with the Esri International User Conference in San Diego, California, giving attendees the opportunity to network with individuals from other industries and explore the direction of GIS technology.

The EdUC will feature user presentations, hands-on workshops, and discussions for all levels of GIS users. Keynote presenter Allen Carroll, the chief cartographer and executive vice president of National Geographic Maps, will discuss the evolving nature of geographic content development and delivery at National Geographic Maps, including new online mapping opportunities.
