Dig-SmartDig-Smart Dig-Smart is an off-the-shelf, GIS-centric (National Association of GIS-Centric Software certified) one-call ticket management software. Developed by the Geospatial Division of Bergmann Associates, Dig-Smart was built to specifically manage the ticket loads received by utilities that have invested in ESRI technology. Designed in ArcObjects™, Dig-Smart serves as an extension to ArcGIS and is fully compliant through version 9.x. Dig-Smart is typically deployed as a ticket management program; however, recently Bergmann Associates developed a complementary call center application that can be integrated at the call center level for mass ticket generation and distribution to member utilities. Other associated products that complement Dig-Smart are the Field Module (for live field inspections of locates), the Cell Phone Module (which sends text messages to field locators when emergency tickets arrive), and the Volume filter, which quickly summarizes all tickets based on geography using batch processing.
