County Redistricting Analysis
Fueled by six of North Central Texas' fastest-growing cities, Collin County is one of the state's fastest-growing counties. The objective of this study was to use GIS to demonstrate a methodology for assessing the need for county redistricting. New residential construction data was obtained from the Central Appraisal District of Collin County.

Voter Participation in the June 14, 2005, Primary Elections
For this project, the voter participation results of the June 14, 2005, Democratic and Republican primaries were mapped. This information was distributed in tabular format through Fairfax County's voting results Web site. Also available at the Web site were a countywide map and a map for each supervisory district.

Congressional Districts of the 108th Congress—This template of the United States and territories was designed to facilitate quick turnaround of presentation-quality maps for the U.S. Congress and Congressional Research Service. Thematic layers, based on case-by-case congressional requests, can be easily integrated into this predesigned template.

Volume 19: GIS—The Language of Geography

Official Zoning Map, City of Roswell, Georgia—The Roswell mayor and city council officially adopted this map on April 14, 2003. The official zoning map shows Roswell’s zoning boundaries. The colors represent different zoning categories used within the zoning ordinance of Roswell.

Volume 18: Geography and GIS—Sustaining Our World

Census 2000 Profile Maps—The U.S. Census Bureau's Census 2000 Profile maps present a graphic overview of several demographic statistics collected as part of Census 2000.

Volume 17: Applications of GIS

Demarcation of Municipalities for Elections—To promote new boundaries, the Municipal Demarcation Board prepared a series of A0 maps of the entire country at the national, provincial, district, and local levels and A1 maps for each ward.

Volume 16: Geography Creating Communities

Election 2000 Maps—The Election Methods map was published in USA TODAY on November 14, 2000 as part of daily news coverage of the vote-counting controversy. It was also published on the Web in the early hours of that morning at www.usatoday.com.
