Check-in

Sunday, August 3: noon–7:00 p.m.
Monday, August 4: 8:00 a.m.–noon

You must check in at the Map Gallery Exhibitor booth inside the Sail Area of the SDCC to prepare your exhibit. Exhibitors who do not check in before noon on Monday will forfeit their display panels to walk-in exhibitors.

Each entry may use between one and four display panels (4 ft. wide x 7 ft. tall; 1.2 m wide x 2.1 m tall) and must be mounted using only push pins. Do not mount your maps on foam core. Push pins, scissors, and a large-format paper cutter will be provided. If you are unable to submit your digital map files prior to the ESRI UC, you can bring them with you on a CD or other media and have them printed in one of the printing shops in San Diego.

You, or a colleague, must attend to your Map Gallery or Multimedia entry for one hour during the Map Gallery Opening and Evening Reception on Monday, August 4, to discuss and answer questions regarding your display.

Multimedia Displays

Multimedia entrants will be provided with the following hardware and software in the Sail Area, SDCC.

• Hardware: IBM-PC compatible computer, monitor, headphones, CD/DVD player
• Software: Windows XP, MS Office 2003, IE 6.0, Firefox 1.0.1, Acrobat Reader 6.0.3+, WinZip, NAV, VNC, .NET Framework 1.1, Windows Media Player, and QuickTime

Multimedia exhibitors are responsible for providing their own software. Internet access will not be available for multimedia displays. If you require Internet access (e.g., ArcIMS Web site), you are invited to enter the User Software Applications Fair.
