Youth Program
The ESRI Education User Conference is a professional conference, so there are guidelines for all attendees. ESRI encourages youths to attend the conference as well, but their status calls for particular rules and procedures.

- The conference registration fee is $150 for adults and for youths.
- Youths must be at least 14 years old as of August 2, 2008.
- A group consists of a minimum of two youths and at least one adult and represents a formally recognized educational organization (a local school, 4-H club, Girl Scout Troop, etc.).
- Youths must be members of an educational and youth-serving organization to participate.
- A group may have a maximum of two youths per adult.
- Adult group members must be registered for EdUC by normal process.
- Registration forms must be submitted for all youths.
Process for Participating in the Youth Program
Parties interested in bringing youths aged 1418 to EdUC 2008 need to send an attendance request by e-mail to k12-lib@esri.com. The request should include these items:

- Ages and genders of expected youths
- Why the group wants to attend EdUC (up to 250 words; include what the group has done with GIS and how the group expects to use information gathered from attending a professional conference)
The EdUC team will evaluate the request. Those whose requests are approved will receive by e-mail a set of registration forms to submit by the regular ESRI UC registration deadline.
