ESRI Data & Maps 9.3

With ArcGIS 9.3, an updated version of the ESRI Data & Maps ships with each ArcGIS software product at no additional cost. The ESRI Data & Maps 9.3 Media Kit contains five DVDs and includes updates to existing datasets as well as additional new datasets.

Added Datasets

• The StreetMap North America dataset includes 2003 Tele Atlas street maps for North America as well as current Tele Atlas North America basemap data. This dataset replaces the TIGER 2000-based StreetMap USA dataset and the Canada dataset.
• At the world level, a new Census IPC Demographics table was added to include many statistics for 2007.

Data Updates

Many U.S. datasets have been updated to their most current version including

• Tele Atlas census boundary and landmark layers
• National Atlas layers

Updates to datasets at the world level include

• Political organizations table
• Automotive Navigation Data (AND) basemap layers for Europe
• Demographic and socioeconomic thematic data at the Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics (NUTS) 0, 1, 2, and 3 levels
• Mexico data layers
